The special Shakyamuni Buddha statue was made in Nepal. The body of the Buddha is set with stones in red, green and blue.
Buddha Shakyamuni is revered as the founder of the world religion of Buddhism. It embodies protection, peace, benevolence and drives away fears. Sitting in the meditation posture, his right hand touches the earth in Bhumisparsa Mudra (Earth Touch), and he holds his left hand in Mediation Gesture (Dhyana Mudra).
