How it all began
It started with a very simple idea. I wanted an indoor fountain that looked serene, was high-quality, and sounded natural. So I searched: what I found was too loud, too kitschy, or didn't feel right.
Then, by chance, I discovered a small manufactory in Berlin. A place specializing in ceramic home accessories. And where a wonderful team works with great passion for the material.
Together, we spent an entire summer developing, testing, discarding, and starting anew. The first designs, to be honest, weren't perfect. The splashing was too loud, the fountain too tall or too small.
Element Earth meets Water
But after a few attempts, there it was – the fountain I had always envisioned.
Quiet, harmonious, clear.
The design is mine. The execution is by the manufactory team. And the result belongs to both of us.
Today it stands in my living room. And every time I walk past it, it reminds me to slow down.

Many steps are needed before clay becomes a finished fountain. Liquid clay is poured into a plaster mold. Each piece then dries carefully, is trimmed, and then glazed. Finally, the ceramic is fired at 1,250 °C – which makes it particularly robust and dishwasher-safe.
We develop our glazes together with our own manufacturer. This creates colors that you won't find anywhere else. During firing, the glaze fuses with the ceramic to form a single unit. The result is a surface that feels as high-quality as it looks.
